This Organic Black Pepper is grown and harvested naturally in the multi-tiered food forests of Gathering Place’s Farmers’ Cooperative in Southern India.

Peppercorns are the fruit of an evergreen climbing vine, and they are most commonly seen winding up coconut trees, thriving in the partial shade. Black, white, and green peppercorns all come from the same plant, but they are harvested at different times and handled in different ways.
