Ketogenic bread ~ You asked, we listened….. The most delicious, sprouted, simple to make, flour free bread is now available with all the ingredients pre measured, ready to go!

The process is so simple! By the time your oven is preheated, the loaf is ready to bake. All you need to add is water and healthy fat!

Ingredients: *Pumpkin Seeds, *Sprouted Chia, *Sprouted Flax, *Psyllium, Pure Ocean Aquifer Sea Salt


Makes 1 Large Loaf or 18-20 Buns


Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  1. Melt 1/4 cup of grass fed butter, ghee or coconut oil OR measure 1/4 cup olive oil or MCT oil….you need 1/4 cup of liquified oil
  2. Add 1.5 cups of water and oil or ghee to the entire contents of the bag and stir to combine
  3. Pack into a parchment paper lined loaf pan or unlined silicone loaf pan and smooth the top OR shape into 18-20 Buns. They will only rise slightly so they can be tightly placed.
  4. Bake for 1 hour for bread and 45 minutes for buns
  5. Allow to cool completely before slicing

Store in a paper bag for up to 1 week or freeze pre sliced or whole.

Serve slathered in Ghee or Coconut Oil for a Ketogenic Snack

Optional Uses: Makes the BEST Gluten Free, Low Carb Croutons. Cube, drizzle with good olive oil, sprinkle with oregano, garlic & onion powder. Toast em up!

    Just found this at Calgary Coop store. Had to try the bread. Fabulous. Easy, so easy to bake and remarkably delicious. Like how it doesn’t fall apart. Solid and great snack.

    Absolutely love this bread! I baked as buns then cut them in half when cooled and put in the freezer to use as needed. Taste is fabulous and stays together when I’m eating my sandwich . So great that I’m ordering more products. Keep up the great work. Thanks so much 😊💕

    I have bought and tried every GF bread on the market, always eagerly optimistic I had found a proper gluten substitute only to be left unsatisfied, time after time. They’re either full of starchy flours, are not nutritionally dense or simply too dry. I was recently BLOWN away when I found Homegrown Living Foods Pumpkin Chia bread. This is seriously the best tasting GF bread ever!! It has great texture, is super moist and dense…the way a good bread should be. Even my wife who is a sourdough fan really loves it. Best part is it literally takes 5 minutes to mix, and 1 hour later you have perfect bread.

    This bread (both the Chia and Sunflower) is incredible.

    My doctor suggested more rest, water, gentle exercise/yoga, and perhaps eliminating sugar, gluten, and simple carbs from my diet for a little while. I’ve already been gluten-free for 14 years, and I’m not a sweet tooth by nature, so I wasn’t quite sure what shifts I could make.

    I remembered Shani’s company, as they provided our meals over the course of our three-year yoga teacher training on Salt Spring Island 7 years ago. For the past two weeks, I’ve been eating a lot of veggies (which I always love), but have now shifted away from ‘normal’ gluten-free bread (baked goods, pastas, crackers, etc.) to hOMe GROWN LIVING FOODS’ breads. They are *so simple* to make (I’m not a baker, and I can’t mess these up), and they stay moist, dense, and delicious for a week – easily.

    I’ve tried almost every GF bread available in Vancouver, and I’ve found that if they are dense enough, then they dry out easily. If they’re not dense enough, they crumble apart. This bread stays moist, holds together beautifully, and compliments everything I put with it.

    The improvement in my overall health and energy levels are really noticeable. My digestion has improved, I am sleeping better, and I feel less anxious overall. Shani…I’ can’t thank you enough. Sending love from Vancouver. 🙂
