Keto Spicy Crackers

The most delicious low carb, flour free, simple to make Keto Spicy Crackers. Just add water! By the time your oven is preheated, they are ready to bake.

Just enough spice to entice with smoked paprika & chili flakes and a touch of garlic & onion ~ all from our friends at Gathering Place Trading ~ the best of the best spices and salt!

Ingredients: *Sunflower Seeds, *Pumpkin Seeds, *Sesame Seeds, *Sprouted Flax, *Sprouted Chia, Pure Ocean Aquifer Sea Salt, *Garlic, *Smoked Paprika, *Onion *Smoked Chili Flakes

Makes about 40 Crackers

MINDFUL PREPARATION

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

  1. Add 1 cup water to the entire contents of the bag and stir to combine. Let sit for a few minutes.
  2. Scoop onto parchment lined cookie sheet and spread thinly. An offset spatula is the best tool for this. Otherwise wet hands and some patience are helpful.
  3. Bake for 50 mins. Let sit for a few minutes to set. Flip and peel off the parchment paper. Break into crackers and toast any pieces that are not quite cooked through.
  4. Transfer to cooling rack and allow to cool before devouring!

*How thin you roll these is up to you….We enjoy them quite thin with just enough density to hold up to dips and spreads

** You can ‘score’ these before baking if you prefer a more uniform sized cracker. We like the rustic look and feel of broken random size pieces

Enjoy as part of a Cheese Board, Charcuterie platter, or simply topped with your favourite spread…..Our Cilantro Pesto or Mushroom Pate are fine pairings!

    I loved these! The spices are just right. And they are so healthy. I’m on a diabetes diet, so these low carb, crunchy inventions are perfect for me. No wheat, no dairy, low calorie. Kudos to the chef/inventor.

    I love the versality of these keto baking blends. Not only can I whip up a delicious batch of crackers that pairs so well with hummus or bean dips, but I can add the mix to other plant based meals to satisfy our hungry farmers. Our favourite eggplant kung pau “meatballs” have just got better by substituting cracker mix for breadcrumbs!

    These crackers are delicious. We eat clean, and several members of the family are diabetic, type one and type two, so these crackers are a must as we don’t eat any wheat based foods.
